Notes: Made for sheppard4lily's prompt "friendship, trust, care, teamwork" as part of the 2008 john_teyla_fic thing-a-thon. She asked for Sheppard and Teyla within a team setting. I ended up having my Team Hat on almost throughout, but there are definite visible undercurrents of the Sheppard/Teyla friendship through the vid.

Being slightly to the contrary, I particular love that the music isn't a standard pop song - that it's this thoughtful, rhythmic music with the background drum beats, lyrical yet slightly quirky, too - perfect for Atlantis.

This is actually the kind of music that I love; with the probable exceptions of the industrial German and classical music on my CD racks, the majority of what I listen to is based on the lyrics and what the song's about. In this case it was something along the lines of, "I'm a Teyla song - VID ME NOW!". I also hadn't vidded SGA in more than a year before signing up for this challenge, and I really did have fun getting back into the show again.

...Apparently the server I use to host my vids doesn't support .rar extensions anymore and it's affected all my uploads prior to the change in policy, which I didn't realise until now. Somehow I never saw this when it came out, and I wish I had! Such a quiet, warm song suits Teyla's pov so well. I love the way you established the relationships, the realistic style of the clips and cutting, and every expression and moment of body language you managed to capture so brilliantly. ♥!
