I've been back and snagged some faves, 5, 13, 18, 22, 54, 76, 77 and 94 are my top faves. 54 I've already put into the rotation, as you see. I just love that episode, and I love the way Garak looks then. Basically, I love the make-up around that period, it looks excellent. Always does of course, but especially in that season.

The make-up is always great of course, on all the characters. I always absolutely marvel at the fight between Garak and Worf in Broken Link, thinking, these guys are both in full-on prosthetic make-up and they're moving so fast and slamming into things and stuff. Twenty years ago, their faces would have fallen right off! Kudos to the make-up geniuses.

Right, end wittering, stuff to do!

I agree completely about the makeup. The special effects are pretty impressive for a show that almost ended ten years ago, and they still stand up on rewatches, again as do the prosthetics and make up. Which is always a good sign, I think!

I think model based effects - if done well in the first place - always stand up better than CGI of the same period. Even going right back to the 70s, the model work in Star Wars, or even the original Battlestar Galactica still looks pretty good. Yet if I watch Babylon 5 now the CGI looks even more horribly fake than it did when I first watched it. The model shots of the Red Dwarf spaceships from earlier series look better to me than the CGI ones from later series.

CGI can be fantastic if done right of course, but I think it "ages" much faster than practical stuff.

I so want to put "Cardassian Sutra" on icon number 76, but only because that's what I want Julian to be showing Garak after saying, "maybe we can try this tonight." And Garak is considering whether or not he's flexible enough to cater to Julian's request.

#76 just screams domestic love, and you can almost see a heart in #95.

Great job! Though I'm surprised you decided on Changeling!Bashir instead of AU-Terok Nor!Garak for #32.

I didn't really consider the MU eps when making the screencaps, to be honest. I think it was mostly because there was no G/B interaction to speak of, and that was what I was focusing on mostly, shots with the both of them in, so I ended up bypassing those episodes altogether.
